RAK Hospital, an advanced Secondary care multispecialty hospital is promoted by Arabian Healthcare, a joint venture between the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, under the aegis of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and the Dubai-based ETA Star Healthcare.
A sprawling complex with a built-up area of 140, 000 sq. ft. on three levels RAK Hospital offers a range of premium rooms. It has a capacity of 65 beds, a number that will eventually go up to 100. Of these, eight are in the Intensive Care Unit, six in the nursery and four in the NICU. The Hospital has 22 Out Patient Clinics with state-of-the-art accident and emergency services. It also houses a 24-hour pharmacy and cafeteria.
A strategic contractual tie-up for professional support and partnership for operational management of the hospital has been made with a leading Switzerland based healthcare company called Sonnenhof Swiss Health Ltd.
